As the name would suggest, they share some eye opening infographics that touch on a topic that is a sore subject for many in my generation, finance. If you are like me, no matter how this info is shared, we are always scrutinized about how much we should be, or should have saved. With so many Apps that grab all of our disposable income, WHO CAN REALLY SAVE? With Starbucks, Uber, and Amazon, where do I find this 20% a month to put away?

Benjamin Franklin famously said, “Failing to plan is planning to fail.” And it wouldn’t surprise us if he were talking about money and how to budget. There seems to be common feeling that if I make a lot of money, I’ll be set. But that’s just not the case. Making money is only half the battle. The other half is making sure you spend wisely, and having a monthly budget is the secret sauce.
It doesn’t matter if your paycheck has 2 digits or 5 digits, you need to know how to budget!
Really, even if I am broke and barely make money I need a budget? Yes, you still need to know how to budget!
What if I’m rich and make more than I spend? We don’t care — you still need to know how to budget!
Whether you are a student making $8 an hour or a high-flying lawyer making $300K a year, you need to create, follow, and stick to a monthly budget.
Budgeting gives you power over your money. You control where it goes and how it’s spent. Whether you are paying debt or saving for the trip of a lifetime, you must be intentional with your money.
